Pressbooks were sent only to theater owners to promote and advertise the movie and are extremely rare especially without cuts.This collection has been of the utmost importance to me and has been stored in a temperature controlled room for many years in a non-smoking home with 2 Hepa air filters and in the summer a strong dehumidifier.
Please note that these images were all scanned, so you have a perfect example of what you are getting.  I am cutting down on my collection and offering many rare pressbooks. Please understand that pressbooks were made to be cut up by theater managers for promotion and to place advertisements in the newspapers, so uncut pressbooks may be hard to find on many titles, and many have been sold off now over the years since Ebay and other auction sites have been in business since the late 1990's. A pressbook with minimal cuts (most of ours are uncut) still has value.
Second, We do not believe in short descriptions and leaving it up to chance for your satisfaction. We try to list EVERY issue there might be with the condition of each pressbook, if there are any, instead of just saying "normal wear" or "general use" or other general terms. We believe you should know, since these are collectibles, close to the exact condition of the pressbook (which is why we chose to purchase an industrial scanner to be able to scan the largest pressbooks). There is nothing more accurate than a scan.
Please also note that when scanning pressbooks, many of these are in newspaper resolution for the photos and advertisements (halftone) which consisted of images made up of dots, , and the scanner, when interpreting the images sometimes makes them look like the ads or photos (especially faces, ect) have very small lines or squares in them, this is NOT in the pressbook itself but a by-product of the scanning of this type of material.
Finally, you may wonder why many of our scans (pictures of the product) state in pink letters "AUCTION PHOTO" or "SCAN FOR EBAY" over some of the images. I have discovered that there are people copying these images and enlarging them and making prints to sell on auction web sites. So to prevent this illegal activity, we are forced to put some print over some of the better images, they are not on the items themselves.

Pressbook has previously been folded but flattened for over 25 years so sits very flat. There is an advertisement cut out of page 5 (see scan with black area). The rest is all intact. There is a 1/4" tear on the right edge going inward about a 1/3 of the way up. It runs through all pages but is only in the border area on all pages. There is another 1/5" tear which is similar on the bottom edge going upward about a 1/3rd of the way across. There is a water stain on the top right area (see cover scan) and while it does run through all pages, it isn't nearly as severe on the other pages as you can see from the scans, the dark spots are only on the front cover. Some of the inside was done on newsprint and it has darkened with age.

Pressbooks will be very carefully packed in between two strong pieces of cardboard and taped on all sides, each pressbook comes in a protective plastic sleeve for safe storage! The shipping cost is as close to real cost as possible, I am not out to make extra profit on shipping, which includes shipping, extra large folders with cardboard to send them unfolded and protected from bending and a beautiful plastic sleeve for safekeeping in the future.
