Outlander Highlander Fitted Bodice M/L 17th/18th Century NWOT Theatre Costume. Shipped with USPS
Made by me here in suburban Chicago, suitable for theatre production, reenactment. M7735 in a pattern size 16. Actual garment measurements are...
    Bust: 41”
    Waist: 36”
    Shoulders across back: 16.5”
    sleeve: 18”+ 3” cuff
Length center back: 18” to bottom of peplum. starts 2” below top of neck
9piece bodice and 2 piece sleeves contribute to a smooth fit and authentic style. Pleated peplum. Green, pink and purple on off white ground woven cotton is underlined with cotton/poly for durability, structure and comfort. No boning- can easily wear with modern undergarments or over a traditional shift. Fully lined in polyester. Stomachacher/ inset snaps at the edges underneath the front lapels. Ecru satin finish ribbon completes the historic look. If you need it smaller, you can easily change the location of the snaps.
The first 4 photos show it on me. I’m 5’6”, 145lbs and a B cup on a good day. It’s a size too big for me.
The other Photos on my dress form show it worn over a medium bum roll to give you an idea of peplum fullness as though it was over a period skirt. My dress form is too small for this size, shoulders and bust look a little saggy in the photos but it fills up very nicely on a larger person 🙂
