MY COLLECTION AND BRIEF PRESSBOOK HISTORY
Pressbooks were sent only to theater owners to promote and advertise the movie and so many are extremely rare especially without cuts. Please understand that pressbooks were made to be cut up by theater managers for promotion and to place advertisements in the newspapers, so uncut pressbooks may be hard to find on many titles, and many have been sold off now over the years since Ebay and other auction sites have been in business since the late 1990's. A pressbook with minimal cuts (most of ours are uncut) still has value.
This collection has been of the utmost importance to me and has been stored in a temperature controlled room for many years in a non-smoking home with 2 Hepa air filters and in the summer a strong dehumidifier. Please note that these images were all scanned, so you have a perfect example of what you are getting.  Also, we strive to give you a most complete description of these items. We try to list EVERY issue if there are any, instead of just saying "normal wear" or "slight use" or other general terms that really don't tell you what the "general" wear is. We want you to know, since these are collectibles, exactly the condition of the pressbook (which is why we chose to purchase an industrial scanner to be able to scan the largest pressbooks). There is nothing more accurate than a scan.
Please also note that when scanning pressbooks, almost all of the images inside them were printed to be "newspaper ready." Newspapers use a larger dot image to make up a photo, so while scanning them for viewing here, some images look like there are light lines or dots on faces and other parts of an image, please note this is a result of our scanning, the actual images inside the listed item do not have that side effect.
Finally, you may wonder why many of our scans (pictures of the product) state in pink letters "SCAN FOR EBAY" over some of the images. I have discovered that there are people copying these images and enlarging them and making prints to sell on auction web sites. So to prevent this illegal activity, we are forced to put some print over some of the better images, they are not on the items themselves.

Pressbook has previously been folded. The front and back covers, which are attached to each other, have separated from the pressbook. One of the two staples is missing, so one or two pages have come loose but all without staple damage. There is a half-inch tear at the bottom edge going upward that affects all but the last 2 pages, note that this is completely in the blank border area and does not touch any print. There is another 1/4th inch tear at the bottom on the cover. Inside pages are in excellent condition. BONUS: CONTAINS THE ORIGINAL ADVERTISING SECTION, in great condition except one of the pages has separated from the others.
PLEASE NOTE THAT MOST OF THE PHOTOS FOR THIS AUCTION SHOW 2 PAGES IN EACH PHOTO as set out on an extra large format scanner! There is no better or accurate way to see what you are buying than with a direct scan!
This is an authentic piece of Hollywood movie memorabilia (not a copy) printed on a beautiful glossy paper.
NUMBER OF PAGES: 18 (includes 6 page ad supplement)

    ABOUT SHIPPING:
ALL PRESSBOOKS ARE MAILED WITH A COLLECTABLE PLASTIC COVER AND IN A LARGE STURDY CARDBOARD AND ALL ARE MAILED UNFOLDED!!!  THERE IS  A CHOICE OF MAILING SPEEDS. IF YOU SELECT MEDIA MAIL, YOU ARE WAITING UNTIL THE ITEM SHIPS THE FOLLOWING Tuesday plus about 4-9 days in shipping. Priority is usually much quicker, but we still ship everything on Tuesdays.
    ABOUT MY FEEDBACK:
Since Ebay does not allow sellers to respond to negative feedback, I will do so here.   You will note I have a few negatives now.  The feedback that I have received that is negative (3 out of about 1,050), one person never contacted me that they were sent a pressbook with a cut in it (by mistake). I certainly would have corrected the problem immediately if they had just told me. I replaced it immediately. The other 2 are from someone who misunderstood that I send my pressbooks out on Tuesdays and they go Media Mail, which is always an additional 4-8 days. This at least keeps the postage down. I do have an option for priority mail if you are in a rush.  I completely refunded her total postage (after the negative feedback) even though the items were sent as stated.
If you have a problem, PLEASE contact me and I will do everything I can to correct an error.
This is my personal pledge to all of my customers.
    ABOUT ME:
I have been a movie fan all of my life, my grandfather worked for both Universal and RKO, and my mother was an editor at Paramount. At age 8 I was taken to the offices and saw piles of pressbooks stacked up.  I loved the pressbooks as they had many pages of information of these movies and such great old movie advertising and could be read many times over. I have collected since I was 8. When I obtained a pressbook, it would immediately go into a plastic bag and was taped shut so no air reached these.  My father owned a furniture store which I worked in for 10 years and the first thing and most important thing he taught me was customer relations, to treasure each and every customer, so I am an old-fashioned seller who cares about each sale. I am ALWAYS available to talk to about anything you might be interested in from my store, and if anything does not please you, I guarantee I will do my best to make you happy.
I WILL ONLY SHIP TO PAYPAL CONFIRMED ADDRESSES!
