    Description

A rare antique break-down travel hook in decorative cast Iron.  Dated on the back Pat'd Mar 11 1879.  The hook has a back plate with two full double hooks which mount on the slots on either side as well as a small single hook that mounts in the small center slot opening.  Three mount holes attaches this travel hook to the wall.  The hook can be dis-assembled and packed flat for space saving traveling.  Back plate measures 2 3/4" high x 7" wide.  The two large hooks are about 2 1/2" high with a 3 1/4" extension.  The small single hook is 1" high with a 1 1/2" extension.  Please review photos to see all parts engaged and broken down.  In excellent condition - well cast, with no breaks or cracks in the iron.  A rare Victorian era travel hook.
