    Description

This is a very nice and useful ladies 18th c style pocket that is tied around one's waist and worn under your petticoat (skirt) and accessed through the pocket slits on the side of a petticoat.  Pocket were historically used to carry sewing kits, utensils, spare buttons, wallets, hankies, snacks, etc.  I have also used pockets to carry my modern water bottle, camera, lunch so i can keep a period look on the outside for the public during reenactments.
This is a reproduction using period correct pattern, handsewn.
This one is handmade and has the front in a very nice small square vintage fabrics patchwork.  The back is muslin.  It is completely lined in muslin as well.  It has a cotton twill tape tie that goes around your waist and through a casing at the top of the pocket.
See all photos for details, photos are considered part of the description.  Please note a small rust stain on back as shown in photo.
    Non smoking household.
